Playing Devil's advocate:  "should be treated", in whose opinion?   They were wired that way at birth and are embracing their true identity.   Look how happy they are and even the Mayor supports them as upstanding citizen that have contributed to making SF a more liveable city ... ya know, for families.   Oh, coming to a city, college campus or religious group near you soon.
