Yes of course Kitty, it takes two to tango. Both men and women are responsible for their actions and their decisions to fornicate.

However, the topic of the post is the ridiculous aire of crisis CNN is making over the issue of the cost of contraceptives, equating it with a primary need.

Being Catholic, I recognize these contraceptives are taken only by women. Thus it was appropriate to direct the comments to coeds, since they are the ones that CNN is portraying as "victims" of this "crisis."

The post was not about the problem of fornication in general. If it were and we had said that it was all the women's fault you would have a valid complaint. As it is, it appears that you have misread the post and given the tenor of your comment, this was likely due to anti-Catholic bigotry.

Women are suffering because of artificial contraception and how this has made it possible for them to ignore the real purpose of sexual intercourse and so be led by the culture to be exploited. The increasing instances of cutting and other emotional pathologies among girls and young women is an indication that they are in interior conflict between what their culture tells them they should be doing for their happiness and what they sense interiorly that they were really made for.

You know, you might have mentioned something about the guys not needed to ASK for sex. Of course, being Catholics, you presume it's always the woman's fault and she must be made to suffer. Nothing else matters but that women suffer as much as possible.
