Like Son, Like Father
Here is a great story from the ole homestead that you may have already seen. Nevertheless, the San Antonio Express News reports on a Father and Son ordination to the Diaconate last Saturday. The son was ordained a transitional deacon in the Legionaries of Christ and the father a permanent deacon in the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Both were ordained by Archbishop Gomez, the local ordinary. In fact, it was the son who inspired his father to deepen his knowledge of his faith and eventually led to the father’s ordination. very inspirational, now I know what to tell people when they ask if Ill be a deacon, Ill go when my son goes.
