The Chesterton Talk
I mentioned that I would upload Dale Ahlquist’s Chesterton talk at St. John’s Catholic Newman Center, in a previous post. I was hoping to have a copy of the edited version but since that has not come about yet, I decided to unload on you the version with a extra few minutes of introductions.
There was also a quote from Chesterton that I had wanted to use that describes the problem of relativism in the same terms as Benedict. Dale sent it to me:
“The exception has become the rule, and that is the worst of all possible tyrannies.†(Illustrated London News, Nov. 21, 1914)
Here is the talk; any thoughts?
