Men shying from commitment in religion
American women are half again as likely as men to say they are “religious” and “absolutely committed” to their faith. Some 70 percent to 80 percent of college students involved in campus ministry are women.

And of the retired folk who attend daily Mass, most of them, like 90% most, are old ladies. At our age we presume that the men are already dead, but perhaps they were never engaged to begin with. I look at it as an example of how “the last shall be first and the first shall be last.”
