“Rape OF The Soul” – How Far Will “They” Go?

Filed under: Culture — shelray @ 9:01 AM

(The following is not my commentary but taken from the source article). “A Documentary on Embedded Art, ‘Rape of the Soul,’ (movie trailer) Opens today, in selected Cities nationwide. “Rape of the Soul” documents and extracts pornographic and satanic images embedded in religious art, and presents shocking evidence that a major contributing factor to the rising incidence of priestly abuse can be attributed to prolonged exposure to the strategically- placed images found in the everyday religious art that surrounds them.

The documentary is a comprehensive look at the widespread use of embedded sexual, satanic, occult and anti-Catholic images in historical and contemporary religious artwork, and its inexplicable acceptance at the highest levels of the Catholic Church. Child psychology author, lecturer and expert on the harmful effects of pornography, and president of The Institute for Media Education, Judith Reisman said, “These images, unrecognized by the untrained eye, can be a ticking time-bomb to an individual who is unaware of their presence.”

Reisman, who supports the revelations about the religious art embeds continues, “Sexually explicit and graphic images are taken in by the subconscious mind, to the point where the person, most-often against their will, will act upon them without even knowing why they did it.” She adds, “This film reveals the lewd and demonic images that priests have been exposed to on a daily basis in their surroundings. I have no doubt in my mind this is a strong contributing factor to the proliferation of sexual abuse amongst Catholic priests.”

  2. It’s so stupid, I thought it might be a joke, but it turns out the only joke are the people who are trying to peddle this garbage.

  3. This sounds somewhat far-fetched, but I can not make myself ridicule it. Judith Reisman has done some very important work to counter the hideous influence of the Kinsey movement, and I’m not at all comfortable with now having to laugh up my sleeve at her about something this silly.

    In conclusion, I’m ambivalent.

  4. [...] ‘’The Rape of the Soul” is a fear-mongering, small-minded, and pathetically smutty polemic about art and the Roman Catholic Church. Presented as a documentary by filmmaker and self-described devout Catholic Michael A. Calace, the film seeks to discredit ‘’predatory artists” from da Vinci and Botticelli to anonymous designers of contemporary greeting cards.”  [...]
