Kids Will Be Kids:
Thousands of girls 13 or younger have been given the abortifacient morning-after pill without their parent’s knowledge or consent, while another 400 were secretly given long-term (usually by hormonal implant) contraception.

Under-age pregnancies dropping :
Congratulations to Julia Hassall, Head of Service for Children and Families and chairman of the Teenage Pregnancy Steering Group, said a range of measures are now in place (see above paragraph) to support young people in and out of school. A 17% drop in teenage pregnancies and should meet government targets, figures revealed last night.

She said that whatever the law may do to change the shape of family life, nothing could beat the fact a child had a natural parent.
